Xbox One Backwards Compatibility: List Of All Xbox 360 Games Revealed

The Xbox One has a new Windows 10-powered update on the way on November 12th, and with it, Microsoft will give its game console a bit of a graphical refresh to try and improve the way gamers interact with the machine. Alongside a bit of spit and polish, though, comes a feature that many have been crying out for, with Microsoft finally adding backward compatibility to the mix.
Now, yes, the obvious downside here is that not every Xbox 360 game will be compatible with the Xbox One because the whole thing works thanks to software emulation. That means that Microsoft will have to work some magic on a game-by-game basis, meaning that at its launch, the new backward compatibility feature will only work with some games – 104, to be exact.

We had already seen a leaked list of what it was claimed were the titles that the Xbox One would support out of the gate, but we now have official confirmation of those titles by Microsoft, and they would know, after all.
The games include some old favorites ranging from the big-budget Assassin’s Creed II and Mass Effect to some smaller Xbox Live Arcade titles like Zuma. Importantly, given Fallout 4 will be released very shortly, Fallout 3 is indeed on the list of games that will work on an Xbox One once the update rolls out on November 12th.
